Sinus Augmentation

Sinus AugmentationThe maxillary sinus is an air cavity in the upper back jaw that sits just above the teeth. Sometimes, this hollow space makes dental implant placement challenging because the implant needs a lot of supportive bone for stability. A very predictable solution to increase the amount of bone above the sinus floor is to lift the sinus and place bone graft material. Six months following the sinus lift procedure, a greater height of bone will have been generated to permit implant placement. Depending on the amount of bone available, we can combine this procedure with your implant placement to reduce the number of surgeries and the total healing time.
