Dental Hygiene Introduction

Sterilization room

  • Our oral hygiene program is specially designed to protect and preserve both your natural and restored teeth. To ensure your healthy smile and oral health for years to come, you must practice good dental hygiene at home and make regularly scheduled appointments for cleanings in our office.
  • Dental hygiene can affect your overall health! Research has shown a link between the bacteria in your mouth and heart disease, strokes and preterm births.

Trust your smile to the specialist!

Our Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) have specialized training in periodontal health and are well-trained to guide you in preventative care. At each hygiene appointment, one will examine the current state of your oral health, share the findings with you, and help you compare these findings with your previous visits. This close monitoring of your oral health helps achieve the best possible results.

We highly recommend a regular cleaning visit every three to six months. The optimal schedule for cleanings depends upon your individual needs. We will confer with you about the schedule that makes the most sense for your situation.

As specialists with many years of experience in the field, Drs. Supowitz will give you both the insight and motivation to keep your dental work looking great for years to come.
