Exam/Consultation

Dr. Supowitz will have an initial consultation with you to learn about your dental problems or your dissatisfaction with the appearance of your smile.  At this visit he will review your medical and dental history, give you a thorough dental examination, an oral cancer screening, and as necessary, obtain digital x-rays, photographs and perform other diagnostic procedures. 

Dr. Supowitz puts much time and thought into the treatment planning process, knowing that forethought and precision at every step
leads to a superior final result.

During your second appointment, Dr. Supowitz will review your current condition and give you his expert feedback on your aesthetic and functional expectations.  He will present you with your treatment options. He will inform you of the advantages and disadvantages of each treatment along with an estimate of fees and length of treatment. To help you visualize the quality of treatment you will receive, he will show you before and after pictures of the patients he treated with conditions similar to your own.  You may also elect to view audiovisual materials at this visit to reinforce your understanding of the recommended treatment.  By the time you leave his office you will be fully informed of the recommended treatment plan, the length of treatment and the cost.

You can expedite your first consultation with Dr. Supowitz if you can bring the following items with you or have them sent to our office if they are available.

• Any X-Rays or models (if applicable)
• List of current medications

You can also expedite matters if you fill out the Patient Registration Form/Health Questionnaire and bring the filled out form with you to your initial consultation appointment.
